Enhancing Commercialisation and Industry Engagement Skills at Victoria University of Wellington
Campus Plus is a global brand with presence in Australia, UK and New Zealand. Since its launch in Australia in 2020, Campus Plus has worked with thousands of researchers, hundreds of institutions and supported many commercialisation professionals as they work to commercialise ideas, inventions and innovations to market.
Wellington UniVentures is the first university in Aotearoa to offer Campus Plus to its university academics, staff, and students. We are excited to announce the extension of the Campus Plus PD+ programme through 2025, reinforcing our commitment to fostering commercialisation skills and industry engagement at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.
This initiative is designed to help researchers and students enhance their capabilities and knowledge about commercialisation, industry partnerships and venture building strategies.
Introducing Platform Plus
As part of this extension, we are introducing Platform Plus, a comprehensive portal that enhances your learning experience by providing:
- Access to Webinars: Browse upcoming webinars and watch recordings of past sessions at your convenience.
- Interactive Engagement: Earn digital badges based for participation and interaction with the webinars, allowing you to showcase your commitment to professional development.
Programme Details
The PD+ programme offers a series over 20+ one-hour webinars focusing on all aspects of research commercialisation and impactful industry engagement. These sessions are scheduled approximately every two weeks on Thursday afternoons from 2–3 pm NZT and feature expert presenters from across Australia and New Zealand. The webinars are tailored for researchers, students, and staff interested in exploring research commercialisation and enhancing their industry engagement.
Getting Started with Platform Plus
To access Platform Plus and its features, simply login in using your @vuw.ac.nz email address. The platform is available to all members of Victoria University of Wellington, including undergraduate students.
