As the Relationships Manager, Kartik manages the business development, account management and client engagement activities as part of Wellington UniVentures' Commissioned Research and Advisory business.
Kartik is responsible for actively growing the University's research activities within government and private sector in the fields of education, law, government and business, humanities, social sciences and creative sector. His role is critical to fostering an innovative and entrepreneurial culture within both Wellington UniVentures and the University to facilitate the mobilisation of research expertise.
Kartik holds a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, a dual Masters of Science and MBA, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Information Management. He's held a variety of roles in the public and private sectors including, most recently, as a Learning Designer at the Ministry for Primary Industries. Kartik is no stranger to the campus environment, having previously held three separate positions across the University over a number of years. His experience means that Kartik is connected across a range of areas of business.
Outside of work, Kartik enjoys a wide variety of hobbies including wood working, photography and tending to his vegetable garden.
